Accendra Health reported its third-quarter and nine-month results for the period ended September 30 on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The Business Wire release carried by Yahoo Finance showed weaker operating performance, while the SEC filing confirmed the reporting date and attached earnings materials.
Revenue and earnings deteriorate
Third-quarter net revenue fell to USD 601.8 million from USD 697.3 million a year earlier. Loss from continuing operations widened to USD 18.0 million from USD 5.6 million, while adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, declined to USD 47.8 million from USD 92.2 million. Free cash flow fell to USD 5.8 million from USD 29.2 million.
For the first nine months, net revenue reached USD 1.843 billion, compared with USD 2.053 billion in the prior-year period. The loss from continuing operations increased to USD 113.5 million from USD 93.2 million, and adjusted EBITDA dropped to USD 166.2 million from USD 284.8 million.
Outlook points to pressure
Accendra Health expects full-year revenue at the bottom end of its previous USD 2.45 billion to USD 2.55 billion range. Management also said adjusted EBITDA could be as much as 30 percent below the prior outlook midpoint of USD 310 million. The company expects fourth-quarter adjusted EBITDA to be comparable with the third quarter.
Chief Executive Officer Kenny Gardner-Smith said the 2026 results had fallen well short of expectations and potential. He said the company was taking action on a turnaround and planned to provide more details on its value creation plan in the coming months.
Balance sheet remains in focus
Cash and cash equivalents stood at USD 26.6 million at September 30, down from USD 282.0 million at the end of 2025. Net debt was USD 1.728 billion, compared with USD 1.768 billion at the end of 2025. For investors, the next key test is whether the planned operational measures can stabilize revenue, restore earnings power and improve cash generation.
