On October 19, 2026, Acciona Energía began commercial operation of the Opor and Boraja II wind farms in Croatia, with capacities of 27 megawatts and 45 megawatts, respectively, according to Europa Press. The projects began supplying electricity to Croatia's national grid through Hrvatski Operator Trzista Energije.
The two facilities add 72 megawatts of wind capacity and are linked to 12-year contracts for difference, Energías Renovables reported. Acciona Energía estimates combined annual production of about 203 gigawatt-hours. The company’s installed wind capacity in Croatia rises to 102 megawatts, including the 30-megawatt Jelinak facility.
