- Amrize raised third-quarter revenue 2.2% and net income 3.3% year over year.
- Weather and cost inflation pressured volumes and the Building Envelope segment.
- Management completed the USD 1 billion share repurchase program and declared a quarterly dividend.
Amrize reported third-quarter results on October 28, 2026, and lowered its full-year 2026 outlook as weather, inflation and interest rates weighed on construction markets. The company nevertheless delivered higher revenue and net income, while completing its USD 1 billion share repurchase program.
Mixed Quarter, Lower Full-Year Outlook
According to Amrize's third-quarter results release, revenue rose 2.2% year over year to USD 3.771 billion in the quarter ended September 30. Net income increased 3.3% to USD 558 million, while adjusted EBITDA edged up 0.2% to USD 1.076 billion. Adjusted EBITDA margin declined to 28.5% from 29.1%.
Amrize now expects 2026 revenue of USD 12.2 billion to USD 12.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA of USD 2.95 billion to USD 3.05 billion. The company cited continued cost inflation and elevated interest rates in its updated assumptions. Building Materials is expected to remain price-cost positive in the fourth quarter, while Building Envelope price-cost positivity has been pushed into 2027.
Roofing Pressure Remains Key Risk
Building Materials revenue rose 1.8% to USD 2.842 billion. Cement volumes fell 4.2% and aggregates volumes slipped 0.2% as weather affected the Northeast, South and Central regions. Pricing partly offset the volume pressure: cement pricing increased 1.8% on a constant-currency basis and aggregates pricing grew 6.9%.
Building Envelope revenue increased 3.6% to USD 929 million, supported by commercial roofing. Segment adjusted EBITDA fell 14.6% to USD 182 million as higher freight and raw-material costs, limited storm activity and weaker residential reroofing demand offset pricing gains.
Buyback Completed, Dividend Ahead
Amrize completed its USD 1 billion share repurchase program on October 28, equivalent to approximately 4% of share capital. The company said it had returned USD 1.1 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends during the first nine months.
