Roofing costs delay margin recovery
Amrize reported third-quarter results for the period ended September 30 on October 28. According to the company's third-quarter results release, revenue rose 2.2 percent to 3.771 billion US dollars and net income increased 3.3 percent to 558 million US dollars. Adjusted EBITDA edged up 0.2 percent to 1.076 billion US dollars, while its margin narrowed to 28.5 percent from 29.1 percent.
Building Envelope revenue grew 3.6 percent to 929 million US dollars, supported by commercial roofing, data-center projects and industrial demand. Management expects Building Materials to become price-cost positive in the fourth quarter, while the price-cost recovery in Building Envelope has been pushed into 2027.
