Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. reported strong third-quarter results on Thursday, October 29, 2026, as growth in brokerage and risk management offset a competitive insurance-pricing environment. The company said in a PR Newswire release that the quarter ended September 30.
Growth Across Core Businesses
Combined revenue in Gallagher's Brokerage and Risk Management segments increased 18% year over year, including 5% organic growth. Net earnings rose 25%, while adjusted EBITDAC also advanced 25%, extending the company's run of double-digit adjusted EBITDAC growth to 26 consecutive quarters.
Brokerage revenue reached 3.473 billion US dollars, compared with 2.922 billion US dollars a year earlier. Adjusted brokerage EBITDAC rose to 1.222 billion US dollars from 975 million US dollars, and the adjusted margin was 35.3%.
Risk Management revenue before reimbursements increased to 457 million US dollars from 402 million US dollars. The segment delivered 10% organic fee growth and an adjusted EBITDAC margin of 22.8%, compared with 21.9% in the prior-year quarter.
Reported And Adjusted Results
Total company revenue before reimbursements was 3.930 billion US dollars, up from 3.325 billion US dollars. Including reimbursements, total revenue was 3.976 billion US dollars versus 3.365 billion US dollars.
Reported net earnings increased to 406 million US dollars from 273 million US dollars, while diluted earnings per share rose to 1.55 US dollars from 1.04 US dollars. Adjusted net earnings reached 782 million US dollars, compared with 604 million US dollars, and adjusted diluted earnings per share increased to 3.00 US dollars from 2.31 US dollars.
The adjusted figures exclude items including acquisition integration, amortization of intangible assets, workforce and lease termination charges, and other acquisition-related adjustments. Gallagher said the prior-year brokerage figures also benefited from interest income on cash raised for the AssuredPartners transaction, making the comparison especially relevant when assessing underlying operating momentum.

Management maintained its outlook for approximately 6% organic growth in the combined Brokerage and Risk Management segments for full-year 2026. The company also continued to expand through acquisitions, closing five transactions during the quarter and 19 during the first nine months.
