Astra International (ISIN ID1000122807) posted stable recurring profit of IDR 24.6 trillion for the first nine months of 2026. The company's third-quarter report, issued on October 28, says stronger performance in the latest quarter offset weakness in the first half, according to the TradingView-carried RNS release.

Recurring earnings hold steady

Consolidated revenue reached IDR 243.9 trillion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, compared with IDR 243.6 trillion a year earlier. Recurring net income was IDR 24.565 trillion, down 1 percent from IDR 24.717 trillion, while recurring earnings per share increased 1 percent to IDR 616.

The headline profit was weaker because Astra recognized IDR 3.0 trillion of non-recurring items, mainly impairment and fair-value adjustments in equity investments. Reported net income fell 12 percent to IDR 21.6 trillion from IDR 24.5 trillion in the comparable period.

Business mix remains uneven

Automotive net income rose 8 percent to IDR 9.8 trillion and financial services income increased 6 percent to IDR 7.2 trillion. Mining Solutions and Heavy Equipment declined 28 percent to IDR 5.1 trillion, although the release said that business recovered to year-over-year growth in the third quarter.

Astra also reported a 36 percent increase in recurring income from its wider businesses to IDR 2.6 trillion. The company said it completed IDR 10.0 trillion of group share buybacks from November 2025 through September 2026 and is conducting a tender offer for up to 4.95 percent of Astra Otoparts.
