  • The company kept its revenue range but expects the 2026 result near its lower end.

ATOSS Software SE raised its full-year 2026 EBIT margin outlook after reporting another quarter of profitable growth. In its October 23 EQS release published by Deutsche Boerse, the company said revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose 12 percent to 155.8 million euros, while the EBIT margin increased to 37 percent from 35 percent in the prior-year period.

ATOSS stock traded at 93.75 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 09:16 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026, 0.58 percent below the Xetra close of Friday, October 30. The quote followed the company's latest operating update, which had already been covered in the market.

Cloud remains the growth engine

Software revenue advanced 14 percent to 117.5 million euros in the first three quarters. Cloud and subscriptions were the main contributor, rising 26 percent to 85.2 million euros and accounting for 55 percent of total revenue, compared with 48 percent a year earlier.

Recurring revenue, including cloud subscriptions and maintenance, grew 17 percent to 113.8 million euros. Its share of total revenue reached 73 percent, up from 70 percent in the prior-year period. The recurring business therefore continued to improve the visibility of ATOSS's revenue base, even as individual project and license sales became less supportive.

On-premises software licenses declined 39 percent to 3.7 million euros in the nine-month period. Management said license revenue was below expectations, while recurring revenue was developing at the upper end of expectations. The company consequently kept its full-year revenue forecast of 210 million to 215 million euros but expects the outcome near the lower end of that range.

Profitability outlook moves higher

The margin improvement was the central change in the outlook. ATOSS cited disciplined cost management and AI-driven productivity gains, particularly in innovation and development, as contributors to the stronger result. The Management Board raised its full-year EBIT margin forecast to around 37 percent, compared with its previous target of at least 34 percent.

Quarterly figures underline the operating leverage. Third-quarter revenue reached 52.6 million euros, up from 47.2 million euros a year earlier, while EBIT rose to 21.1 million euros from 17.2 million euros. The quarterly EBIT margin was 40 percent, compared with 36 percent in the prior-year quarter. These figures show that stronger profitability currently offsets some pressure from lower-margin or one-off revenue streams.

ATOSS also reported a 23 percent increase in its cloud and subscription order backlog to 125.0 million euros as of September 30, 2026. Cloud and subscription annual recurring revenue rose 25 percent to 119.4 million euros, while the total annual recurring revenue backlog increased 16 percent to 161.4 million euros. For investors, these indicators point to a growing contracted revenue base, although future growth still depends on the pace of cloud adoption and the transition away from perpetual licenses.

Next milestone for investors

The company said it remains on track for its 21st consecutive record year in revenue and earnings. Its next listed investor date is the German Equity Forum on November 23, 2026, where management may provide further comments on the cloud pipeline, license mix and the path toward the full-year targets.

The German market environment is covered in the current market reports.
