BAE Systems is preparing for EuroNaval 2026, where it will present maritime autonomy, open software and integrated naval capabilities from November 3 to 6 in Villepinte, France. The company published the event details on October 19 and says its engineers and product leads will be available at Hall 6, Stand E30.

At the exhibition, BAE Systems plans to showcase Herne, an extra-large autonomous underwater vehicle developed with Cellula Robotics under a ten-year exclusive agreement. The company says the system can follow complex routes without human contact and is intended for missions including undersea infrastructure protection, anti-submarine warfare and surveillance. Its modular software and secure communications are designed to connect the vehicle with ships, aircraft and command centers.

Autonomy meets naval integration

The presentation also includes the Sting Ray Mod 1 lightweight torpedo, the Global Combat Ship and the Mk 45 Mod 4 naval gun system. BAE Systems describes the torpedo as featuring new sonar, tactical and navigation systems and a seawater battery. The Global Combat Ship is presented as a multi-mission platform with an open architecture that allows upgrades over its service life.

For the Mk 45, BAE Systems highlights counter-drone and counter-missile applications, automated ammunition handling and precision-guided munitions. The company says the system is currently trusted by 12 nations and that discussions with Diehl Defence cover the possible integration of 127-millimeter ammunition and IRIS-T missiles for the German Navy and its allies.

BAE Systems stock traded at 24.96 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 09:45 CET on Monday, November 2, 2026, 0.24 percent above the Xetra close of Friday, October 30. The comparison uses the 24.90-euro Xetra close reported by Yahoo Finance.

Investors will be watching whether the exhibition produces additional customer announcements or partnership signals. The near-term focus is strategic rather than financial: the event puts BAE Systems' ability to combine platforms, sensors, software and weapons into a single maritime offering in front of defense customers.
