- Beiersdorf increased the first tranche of its 2026/2027 repurchase program after earlier expansions in May and August.
- The wider program permits total purchases of up to EUR 750 million through several tranches.
- Repurchased shares may be cancelled or used for convertible debt, warrant-linked obligations and employee share programs.
Beiersdorf Aktiengesellschaft expanded the first tranche of its 2026/2027 share buyback program to up to EUR 400 million on Wednesday, October 28. The company also extended the purchase period to December 29, 2026, according to the Deutsche Boerse announcement.
First Tranche Reaches EUR 400 Million
The first tranche began on May 6 with a ceiling of EUR 100 million. Beiersdorf raised that limit to EUR 200 million in an August 20 announcement before increasing it again in the latest release. Based on the Xetra closing price of EUR 80.34 on October 27, the remaining capacity corresponds to up to 2,909,604 shares, equal to about 1.22% of the share capital.
The overall 2026/2027 program allows purchases totaling up to EUR 750 million in several tranches. Beiersdorf said the program is intended to support share cancellations, obligations from convertible and warrant-linked debt instruments, and employee share programs. A commissioned credit institution decides independently on the timing of purchases.

The enlarged authorization may increase the potential for further share purchases into year-end, but the announcement does not state that the maximum number of shares will be acquired. The stated purposes also mean that the eventual effect on the share count and earnings per share depends on how the repurchased shares are used.
