Beiersdorf's third-quarter update kept investors focused on a split portfolio: Derma and La Prairie accelerated, while NIVEA remained the main drag. In its October 27 results release, the company said first-nine-month group sales reached 7.3 billion euros, down 2.8 percent organically.

Growth remains uneven

Derma sales increased 8.7 percent organically in the first nine months, with third-quarter growth accelerating to 10.6 percent. La Prairie also gained momentum, supported by stronger demand in China, while Healthcare grew faster than expected.

NIVEA sales to shoppers declined 4.9 percent in the third quarter. Beiersdorf said its 18-month turnaround plan was progressing, but the core brand continued to face a demanding comparison base and unsettled pricing conditions in parts of Europe.

Guidance stays unchanged

Beiersdorf retained its 2026 outlook despite the weaker Consumer performance. The group continues to expect a low-single-digit organic sales decline and an adjusted EBIT margin of at least 11.8 percent. For the Consumer segment, management expects an adjusted EBIT margin of at least 11.0 percent.
