- Initial shipments under the agreement are expected to start in 2027.
- The project links Bloom Energy to rising demand for reliable power for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Bloom Energy has secured a new international data center project as demand for reliable power for artificial intelligence infrastructure expands. NTT DATA announced the agreement on Thursday, November 5, 2026, covering onsite power generation across multiple projects.
According to Business Wire via Yahoo Finance, NTT Global Data Centers will use Bloom Energy fuel cell technology to deploy 900 megawatts of onsite power globally. Initial shipments are expected to begin in 2027.
What Has Changed Since Our Last Report
The agreement adds a concrete customer relationship to Bloom Energy's recent positioning around data center power. NTT DATA said the relationship is intended to expand across its global data center portfolio and could reach gigawatt scale, although the announcement does not establish the timing or final scope of any expansion beyond the stated project.
For Bloom Energy, the announcement strengthens the commercial case for modular onsite generation in markets where grid connections may not keep pace with data center construction. The company said its systems can be deployed in phases alongside new facilities, while NTT Global Data Centers highlighted low local air emissions, limited water use and quiet operation.
The agreement is not a new revenue forecast. Bloom Energy's release also cautions that statements about future deployment, shipments and relationship expansion are forward-looking and may differ from actual results. Investors will therefore focus on delivery progress and the conversion of the project pipeline into reported revenue.
