Prague sale completes market exit
The Riverside Karlín campus comprises Nile House, Amazon Court, Danube House, Mississippi House and Missouri Park, with approximately 85,000 square metres of gross leasable area. The buyer also took over CA Immo's entire Czech team, allowing local management to continue under new ownership.
CA Immo said the sale was completed at a profit against book value. Chief Executive Officer Keegan Viscius said the transaction followed progress on the Danube House refurbishment and would refine the portfolio while increasing scale in Germany.
Capital rotation targets prime offices
Management is directing the investment portfolio toward large, modern Class A office properties in prime inner-city locations in Berlin and Munich. The strategy also calls for disposals of assets that no longer fit the group's preferred profile by location, quality, age or value creation potential.
The company has not assigned the proceeds to one specific use. CA Immo said they could support general corporate purposes, investment in the prime portfolio, debt repayment, share buybacks, dividend distributions or external investments if suitable opportunities arise.
