App broadens digital lending access

Launched in 2024, the CUB Vietnam App enables eligible customers to complete the lending journey digitally, from identity verification and application to credit assessment, approval and disbursement. The platform had attracted more than 1.3 million registered users and surpassed 9.6 million downloads through October 2026.

Cathay United Bank introduced the View Your Offers feature in August 2026. Prospective customers can provide basic information and receive a preliminary credit offer before formally applying, giving them an early view of potential borrowing capacity.

The app also uses a revolving credit model that allows eligible customers to apply once and access an approved credit line multiple times for up to five years.
