DrÀgerwerk stock (ISIN DE0005550636) was trading at EUR 101.40 at Lang & Schwarz on October 26, 2026 at 4:05 p.m. CET, 0.80 percent above the Xetra close of October 23, 2026 at EUR 100.60. Profit fell despite higher sales
DrÀgerwerk generated third-quarter EBIT of EUR 48.00 million, compared with EUR 56.70 million in the same quarter of 2025. That is a decline of 15.34 percent. The EBIT margin fell from 6.80 percent to 5.60 percent as functional expenses grew faster than sales.
Revenue increased 2.10 percent to EUR 851.00 million from EUR 833.30 million. The result included EUR 20.10 million in customs duty refunds, making the underlying margin quality more important than the headline gross-margin improvement to 47.50 percent.
Safety orders offset medical weakness
Order intake rose 8.20 percent to EUR 926.00 million. Safety technology led the increase with a 20.20 percent gain to EUR 452.00 million, while medical order intake fell 2.20 percent to EUR 474.00 million. This split gives DrÀgerwerk a clearer growth engine, but it also leaves medical demand as a counterweight.
For the first nine months, revenue rose 4.70 percent to EUR 2.454 billion and EBIT increased to EUR 112.00 million from EUR 77.10 million. However, the nine-month EBIT included EUR 27.90 million in customs refunds, including EUR 20.10 million from the third quarter.
Forecast and next reporting date
DrÀgerwerk confirmed its 2026 outlook for currency-adjusted revenue growth of 2.00 to 6.00 percent and an EBIT margin of 6.00 to 8.00 percent. The company's investor-relations calendar sets the quarterly statement for October 29, 2026, followed by a conference call. A capital markets day is scheduled for November 18, 2026.
Stock remains below its yearly high
The Lang & Schwarz price of EUR 101.40 stands 19.14 percent below the 52-week high of EUR 125.40 and within the EUR 66.00 to EUR 125.40 range reported for the same October 26, 2026 market snapshot. The market is therefore valuing the shares below their yearly peak while investors weigh stronger safety demand against weaker quarterly profitability.
