- Nine-month revenue increased on a currency-adjusted basis in both business divisions.
- Safety Technology delivered stronger order momentum, while Medical Technology order intake declined.
- Drägerwerk kept its 2026 sales-growth and EBIT-margin targets unchanged.
Drägerwerk reported stronger nine-month sales and EBIT on October 29, while third-quarter profitability weakened. The EQS News release said the company increased currency-adjusted revenue by 5.3 percent to 2,453.9 million euros in the first nine months of 2026.
At 17:39 CET on Thursday, November 5, Drägerwerk stock traded at 104.90 euros on Lang & Schwarz, 1.59 percent below the Xetra close of 106.60 euros from Wednesday, November 4. Compared with the 106.90-euro quote in the own report published on November 4, the stock was 1.87 percent lower, a separate comparison since that report.
Safety Demand Outpaces Medical Orders
Order intake rose 3.6 percent on a currency-adjusted basis to 2,673.5 million euros. Safety Technology provided the stronger demand signal: its order intake increased 13.1 percent to 1,242.8 million euros, while Medical Technology order intake declined 3.5 percent to 1,430.7 million euros.
Revenue rose 4.4 percent in Medical Technology and 6.5 percent in Safety Technology on a currency-adjusted basis. The division mix gives investors a clearer view of demand quality, with safety-related orders offsetting weaker medical order intake.
One-Off Support Raises Execution Focus
Group EBIT increased to 111.8 million euros from 77.1 million euros, lifting the nine-month EBIT margin to 4.6 percent from 3.3 percent. The result included 27.9 million euros in customs refunds, including 20.1 million euros attributable to the third quarter.
The quarterly picture was less favorable. Third-quarter revenue rose 1.0 percent on a currency-adjusted basis to 850.8 million euros, while EBIT fell to 48.0 million euros from 56.7 million euros and the EBIT margin narrowed to 5.6 percent from 6.8 percent.
Drägerwerk retained its 2026 forecast for currency-adjusted revenue growth of 2.0 to 6.0 percent and an EBIT margin of 6.0 to 8.0 percent. The final quarter will show whether stronger safety demand can translate into more consistent profitability.
