- Intel's third-quarter revenue rose 21 percent year over year, led by strong Data Center and AI demand.
- Management expects the PC slowdown to continue through at least the first half of 2027.
- Fourth-quarter revenue guidance of 15.0 billion to 16.0 billion US dollars remains below the strong server growth outlook.
Intel stock traded at 47.63 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:02 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026, 7.26 percent below the Xetra close of Wednesday, November 4. Compared with 50.46 euros in an earlier Intel stock report published at 08:17 CET, the quote has fallen 5.61 percent.
Intel reported its third-quarter results on October 29. In its earnings release, the company said revenue increased 21 percent year over year to 16.5 billion US dollars. The Data Center and AI segment generated 7.3 billion US dollars, up 78 percent, while Client Computing and Physical AI revenue fell 5 percent to 8.1 billion US dollars.
Server demand outpaces client weakness
Intel said demand for Xeon processors remains strong, but supply constraints limit how quickly the company can convert demand into sales. Chief Executive Lip-Bu Tan described expanding CPU demand as a long-term opportunity, while Chief Financial Officer David Zinsner said the PC slowdown should persist through at least the first half of next year.
Fourth-quarter guidance calls for revenue of 15.0 billion to 16.0 billion US dollars and non-GAAP diluted earnings of 0.25 US dollars per share. The midpoint implies a lower revenue level than in the third quarter and leaves the PC market as the main near-term risk. Intel expects its data-center business to keep growing, but the outlook also reflects supply, memory and customer-inventory pressures.
