- Tata Motors' offer for Iveco became unconditional after the acceptance threshold was met.
- Damiano Cretarola is scheduled to become chief financial officer on November 2, ahead of the reopened tender period.
Iveco stock traded at 14.38 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 10:36 CEST on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The quote comes as Tata Motors moves toward settlement of its takeover and Iveco prepares a change at the top of its finance function.
On October 27, Iveco Group announced the final results of Tata Motors' voluntary tender offer in a GlobeNewswire release. Shareholders tendered 238,157,212 shares, representing 87.81 percent of Iveco's common share capital. Including treasury shares, the offeror is set to hold approximately 89.42 percent net of treasury shares, and the offer became fully effective and unconditional.
Tender window reopens in November
The offer price is 14.40 euros per share, including the additional 0.30 euros announced on October 9. Payment for shares tendered during the initial acceptance period was scheduled for October 30. The acceptance period is due to reopen for five trading days from November 2 through November 6, with payment for shares tendered in that window scheduled for November 13.
The reopening gives shareholders who did not tender during the first period another opportunity to participate. The transaction documents also outline possible next steps for the remaining shares, including a voluntary purchase procedure, a squeeze-out if the relevant threshold is reached, or measures aimed at delisting.
Finance leadership changes next
Iveco announced that Damiano Cretarola will become chief financial officer on November 2. In the announcement carried by The Canadian Press, the company said Cretarola will succeed Anna Tanganelli and report to Chief Executive Olof Persson. Cretarola has most recently served as senior vice president of planning and controlling.
For investors, the immediate focus is therefore the reopened tender period and the ownership structure that follows it. The CFO transition adds a separate operational milestone during the takeover process.
