Keysight Technologies will change its chief financial officer on Friday, December 18, 2026. Jason Kary, currently senior vice president and president of the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group, will succeed Neil Dougherty in the planned transition, the company said in a Keysight Technologies release published Monday, November 2.

Dougherty has served as CFO for 13 years and has been with Keysight for 30 years. He will remain with the company in an advisory role through fiscal 2027, giving management time to complete the handover and maintain continuity in financial leadership.

Internal succession keeps outlook intact

Kary brings both operating and finance experience to the role. Before leading the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group, he served as vice president, treasurer and head of investor relations from 2014 to 2024. The company said his previous responsibilities included capital structure, cash, investments, foreign exchange, pension, insurance and financing.

Chief Executive Officer Satish Dhanasekaran described the appointment as a sign of the strength of Keysight's leadership pipeline. Kary said he would work with the leadership team on financial discipline, long-term investment and customer value creation. After the transition, the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group will report to Kailash Narayanan while continuing as a separately reported financial segment.

Keysight also said it would not change its previously issued outlook for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2026. The company said demand across its end markets remains strong and that execution continues as planned. Results for the quarter ended October 31 are scheduled for Thursday, November 19.

What investors should watch next

The unchanged outlook limits the immediate financial signal from the management change. Investors will therefore focus on the November results for evidence that demand and execution support the existing forecast, while the CFO transition places attention on capital allocation and financial controls during the next fiscal year.
