- Chief Executive Nicolas Hieronimus expects another year of sales and profit growth.
L'Oreal reported strong broad-based growth for the first nine months of 2026, led by professional haircare, dermatological beauty and a recovery in luxury products. The company published the update on Thursday, October 22, and said its performance continued to outpace the global beauty market.
At 09:40 CET on Monday, November 2, L'Oreal stock traded at 435.98 euros on Lang & Schwarz. The company also reported 35.33 billion euros in sales for the first nine months, up 7.7 percent on a reported basis and 6.9 percent like for like, based on a comparable structure and identical exchange rates.
Divisions Keep The Growth Broad
All four divisions expanded during the period. Professional Products generated 4.39 billion euros in sales and posted 12.3 percent adjusted like-for-like growth. Dermatological Beauty reached 6.09 billion euros and grew 11.6 percent on the same basis.
L'Oreal Luxe sales rose to 12.17 billion euros, with adjusted like-for-like growth of 5.8 percent. Consumer Products generated 12.69 billion euros and grew 4.2 percent. The company said fragrances and haircare were the main growth drivers, while skincare continued to accelerate.
Regional performance was also broad. Adjusted like-for-like growth reached 15.8 percent in South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, 7.0 percent in Europe, 6.3 percent in North America and 5.5 percent in North Asia. Latin America grew 2.4 percent, reflecting a stronger performance in Brazil and weaker conditions in Mexico.
Management Sees Another Growth Year
Chief Executive Nicolas Hieronimus said the third quarter was exceptional and that the company was gaining share in haircare, fragrances and skincare. He also highlighted e-commerce growth of around 17 percent and said the performance in the first nine months gave him confidence that L'Oreal would deliver another year of sales and profit growth.
Reported sales for the third quarter rose 11.9 percent to 11.56 billion euros. Adjusted like-for-like growth was 7.7 percent, while regular like-for-like growth was 7.2 percent. The company said the adjusted figure accounts for the phasing of an internal IT transformation, which affected the comparable quarters.
The update came from L'Oréal Finance. Alongside organic expansion, L'Oreal cited the closing of its acquisition of a majority stake in Indian personal-care group Innovist and ongoing investment in innovation, e-commerce and artificial intelligence.
