- Marsh issued two EUR 600 million senior-note tranches due in 2032 and 2036.
- The transaction adds long-dated euro financing after the third quarter showed continued revenue and adjusted earnings growth.
Marsh & McLennan completed a EUR 1.2 billion senior-note offering on October 27, adding a fresh financing development after its third-quarter results. The issuance comprised two EUR 600 million tranches, according to a Nasdaq report.
Two tranches extend financing
The first tranche carries a 4.250 percent coupon and matures in 2032. The second bears 4.625 percent and matures in 2036. The notes were issued under Marsh & McLennan's existing indenture, supplemented on the closing date, and The Bank of New York Mellon, London Branch, acts as paying agent.
The completed offering replaces the earlier status of a planned transaction with a settled financing event. For investors, the structure adds euro-denominated debt with fixed coupons and long maturities to the balance-sheet picture. It also broadens the company's access to European capital markets.
Operating backdrop remains relevant
Marsh reported third-quarter revenue of USD 6.86 billion for the period ended September 30, 2026, up 8 percent year over year. Adjusted earnings per share rose 10 percent to USD 2.03, while the company's operating mix remained uneven: consulting grew, whereas reinsurance revenue declined.
