- Management targets a return to positive free cash flow during the second half of fiscal 2028.
- Capital spending is expected to peak before declining in fiscal 2029.
- Additional capital-market funding is limited through fiscal 2030.
Oracle set out a more ambitious long-term growth plan at its Investor Day in Las Vegas on October 28, while also addressing concerns about the cash demands of its artificial-intelligence infrastructure build-out. In its Investor Day announcement, Oracle said it expects revenue to exceed 225 billion US dollars in fiscal 2030, implying annual growth of more than 35 percent from fiscal 2026.
Cash flow remains the key milestone
The company expects non-GAAP operating margin of at least 40 percent and non-GAAP earnings per share of at least 21 US dollars in fiscal 2030. Capital expenditure is expected to peak in fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028 before declining in fiscal 2029.
Oracle expects free cash flow to turn positive during the second half of fiscal 2028 and to reach at least 30 billion US dollars in fiscal 2029. Management also said growth should become self-funded from fiscal 2029, with net debt below 3.5 times adjusted EBITDA.
Additional capital-market funding through fiscal 2030 is capped at 20 billion US dollars, excluding refinancing of existing debt. Oracle plans to divide that funding broadly between equity and gross debt, while vendor financing, customer-provided hardware and customer prepayments are expected to reduce upfront cash requirements.
