Porsche AG reported stronger profitability for the first nine months of 2026 on Tuesday, October 27, while revenue and deliveries declined. In its Porsche Newsroom, the company said its value-over-volume strategy and strategic realignment were beginning to support earnings.

Porsche AG stock traded at 46.66 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 11:09 CET on Friday, October 30, 1.17 percent above the Xetra close of Thursday, October 29. The comparison uses the P911.DE quote and the prior Xetra session close. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Porsche AG stock.

Profit rises as revenue contracts

Group revenue fell 5.9 percent to 25.28 billion euros from 26.86 billion euros a year earlier. Operating profit, however, rose to 1.74 billion euros from 40 million euros, lifting the operating return on sales to 6.9 percent from 0.2 percent.

The improvement was supported by a greater share of high-margin models, positive pricing and product-mix effects, and lower costs tied to the strategic realignment. Those costs were approximately 500 million euros in the first nine months, compared with 2.7 billion euros in the prior-year period. Automotive EBITDA margin reached 17.3 percent, up from 11.9 percent.

Lower volumes remain a risk

Deliveries to customers fell 16.0 percent to 178,532 vehicles from 212,509. Porsche said the Chinese market remained challenging and that it would continue prioritising long-term brand development over short-term volume targets. Battery-electric vehicles accounted for 21.7 percent of deliveries, down from 23.1 percent in the prior-year period.

Automotive net cashflow increased to 2.50 billion euros from 1.34 billion euros. The figure benefited from the completed sale of Porsche's stakes in Bugatti Rimac and the Rimac Group, which generated a gain of 593 million euros and cash inflows of 984 million euros. The company also cited one-off third-quarter charges related to restructuring, pension funding and United States tariffs.

Guidance remains unchanged

Porsche confirmed its 2026 forecast despite economic and geopolitical uncertainty. The company expects group revenue of 35 billion to 36 billion euros, a group operating return on sales of 5.5 percent to 7.5 percent, an Automotive net cashflow margin of 5.5 percent to 7.5 percent, an Automotive EBITDA margin of 15 percent to 17 percent and an Automotive BEV share of 24 percent to 26 percent.

The outlook includes proceeds from the Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group transactions as well as 250 million euros for additional pension funding. For investors, the results show meaningful earnings leverage from pricing and mix, but also continued dependence on cost discipline while vehicle volumes weaken.
