- Management raised its full-year outlook across revenue, earnings and cash flow.
- Project timing, permitting, weather and acquisition integration remain execution factors.
Quanta Services reported record third-quarter results on October 29, 2026, and raised its full-year outlook across major measures. The company disclosed the figures in its investor release.
Quanta Services stock traded at EUR 486.50 on Lang & Schwarz at 17:00 CET on Friday, November 6, 2026.
Record Quarter Raises The Bar
Revenue for the three months ended September 30 reached USD 12.01 billion, up from USD 7.63 billion a year earlier. Net income attributable to common stock rose to USD 694.9 million from USD 339.4 million, while adjusted diluted earnings per share increased to USD 6.06 from USD 3.33.
Total backlog reached a record USD 63.7 billion, including USD 41.8 billion in remaining performance obligations. Quanta said demand broadened across utility, power generation, industrial and technology customers.
Higher Guidance Meets Execution Risk
Management now expects 2026 revenue of USD 41.3 billion to USD 41.6 billion, compared with the previous range of USD 39.3 billion to USD 39.7 billion. Adjusted diluted earnings per share guidance stands at USD 17.90 to USD 18.30, while free cash flow is expected to reach USD 2.50 billion to USD 3.00 billion.
The company also expects net cash provided by operating activities of USD 3.45 billion to USD 4.00 billion. The adjusted measures exclude selected items including acquisition and integration costs, stock-based compensation and amortization, so investors should read them alongside the GAAP figures.
Quanta completed five acquisitions during the first nine months of 2026 and said two further acquisitions announced in September and October would not contribute materially to the current year's results. Management also sees an opportunity for strong double-digit adjusted earnings-per-share growth in 2027, supported by continued backlog growth.
