Randstad N.V. stock was at EUR 40.21 in the Lang & Schwarz quote at 17:08 Berliner time on October 29, 2026. The quote was down 1.06 percent against the preceding Lang & Schwarz reference, while the latest company update points to improving activity and a broader use of digital tools.
Randstad published its third-quarter results on October 21. In its Q3 results release, the company reported organic revenue growth of 3.9 percent and underlying EBITA of EUR 211 million. The underlying EBITA margin was 3.5 percent, while reported net income reached EUR 110 million.
What has changed since the last report
The additional detail came from the results call reviewed by Investing.com. Management said 2.3 million shifts were self-scheduled through digital marketplaces during the quarter and that AI agents had handled 1.5 million meaningful conversations with talent. The company also said its marketplace represented roughly 17 to 18 percent of the business and that employees working per FTE in the United States had risen by more than 20 percent year over year.
Management described September as the strongest month of the quarter and said volume trends improved further in early October, helped by logistics customers preparing for the holiday season. For the fourth quarter, Randstad expects gross margin to be broadly stable sequentially and underlying costs to remain flat, although reported operating expenses may rise slightly because of seasonal effects.
Profit recovery still has qualifications
The recovery is not uniform. Reuters, carried by Euronext, reported 9 percent revenue growth in North America, including 19 percent growth in US operational staffing, while France declined 3 percent. Randstad also said gross-margin pressure persisted, partly reflecting business mix and the Dutch collective labor agreement.
