Redcare Pharmacy reported a stronger third quarter on Thursday, October 29, 2026, with prescription sales again the main growth engine and profitability improving. In an EQS News release carried by Deutsche Boerse, the online pharmacy said group revenue increased 18 percent year over year to 847 million euros in the third quarter.

Prescription sales drive growth

Prescription revenue rose 31 percent to 358 million euros. Germany remained the strongest contributor, with prescription revenue up 56 percent to 197 million euros. Prescription revenue in Switzerland grew 10 percent to 161 million euros.

Non-prescription revenue increased 9 percent to 489 million euros. Total DACH revenue rose 19 percent to 697 million euros, while international revenue increased 13 percent to 149 million euros. The active customer base reached 15.2 million at the end of September, up 1.5 million from a year earlier and 0.5 million from the second quarter.

Margins improve across the group

Adjusted EBITDA increased 68 percent year over year to 28.7 million euros, with the margin rising to 3.4 percent from 2.4 percent. Gross profit increased to 185 million euros from 159 million euros, although the gross margin edged down to 21.8 percent from 22.1 percent.

Redcare said lower marketing spending and a lower cost per order reduced adjusted selling and distribution expenses to 16 percent of revenue from 17 percent a year earlier. DACH adjusted EBITDA reached 29 million euros, lifting the regional margin to 4.2 percent from 3.0 percent. International adjusted EBITDA remained negative at 1 million euros.

Net income was positive at 1 million euros, marking the second consecutive quarterly profit. Free cash flow reached 15 million euros in the quarter. Chief Executive Peter Schmid von Linstow said the company would continue optimizing its marketing mix and increasing operational leverage to convert scale into profitability across its segments.

Guidance remains unchanged

Redcare confirmed its upgraded 2026 outlook. The company continues to target total revenue growth of 16 to 18 percent, non-prescription growth of 10 to 12 percent, German prescription revenue of 730 million to 760 million euros and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 2.5 to 3.0 percent.

For investors, the results reinforce the importance of Germany's prescription business to the growth profile. At the same time, the lower group gross margin and still negative international segment leave execution and operating leverage central to the investment case.
