Regeneron Pharmaceuticals reported third-quarter results on Friday, October 30, showing stronger operating momentum and a broader Sanofi partnership. The company's investor relations release said revenue for the quarter ended September 30 increased 36 percent year over year to USD 5.116 billion.
Regeneron stock traded at 819.30 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 16:37 CEST on Friday, October 30. That was 11.77 percent above the EUR 733.05 quote cited in the company's own Regeneron report from October 29 at 17:55, a separate comparison from any Xetra session.
The earnings mix was led by collaboration revenue and growth in key medicines. Sanofi collaboration revenue rose 68 percent to USD 2.724 billion, while global Dupixent sales recorded by Sanofi increased 35 percent to USD 6.541 billion. U.S. EYLEA HD sales rose 62 percent to USD 699 million, and global Libtayo sales increased 51 percent to USD 550 million. Combined U.S. EYLEA HD and EYLEA sales fell 1 percent to USD 1.099 billion as patients continued to shift from EYLEA to the newer formulation.
Sanofi expands the growth platform
Regeneron and Sanofi added four next-generation, long-acting antibodies to their alliance. Regeneron received a USD 1.0 billion upfront payment and may receive up to an additional USD 7.0 billion in development, regulatory and sales-based milestones. The upfront amount is expected to be recognized as collaboration revenue in the fourth quarter of 2026.
GAAP diluted earnings per share increased 35 percent to USD 18.45. Adjusted diluted earnings per share rose 70 percent to USD 20.07. The company raised its 2026 research and development expense outlook, lowered its adjusted selling and administrative expense range, and lifted its expected non-GAAP gross margin on product sales to approximately 86 percent.
Pipeline milestones move closer
The FDA approved Pasatru for adults with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva. Regeneron also said the FDA is expected to decide on cemdisiran in generalized myasthenia gravis next month, while several Phase 3 programs continue to advance.
For investors, the quarter strengthens the near-term contribution from Dupixent and the Sanofi relationship, while the decline in combined EYLEA and EYLEA HD sales keeps product-mix execution in focus.
