- Roche reported stronger nine-month sales and kept its 2026 outlook unchanged.
- Divarasib delivered positive phase III results in previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated lung cancer.
Roche Holding advanced its oncology pipeline during the week with positive phase III results for divarasib, while nine-month sales growth supported the company’s full-year outlook. The developments strengthen the investment case around both the pharmaceutical portfolio and the late-stage pipeline.
Divarasib strengthens oncology pipeline
Roche announced on October 25 that divarasib outperformed first-generation KRAS G12C inhibitors in the phase III Krascendo 1 study for previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. According to Roche, the treatment reduced the risk of disease progression or death and the overall risk of death versus sotorasib or adagrasib. The company said no new safety signals were observed.
The data were presented at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology Congress and published simultaneously in The New England Journal of Medicine. The results support further regulatory work, although commercial timing will depend on subsequent regulatory steps.
Sales growth supports 2026 outlook
Roche reported on October 22 that group sales rose 6 percent at constant exchange rates in the first nine months of 2026 and 1 percent in Swiss francs to CHF 46.5 billion. The pharmaceuticals division grew 7 percent at constant exchange rates to CHF 36.2 billion, according to the company’s nine-month update.
Roche confirmed its 2026 outlook for mid-single-digit group sales growth at constant exchange rates and high-single-digit growth in core earnings per share on the same basis. Currency movements remain relevant because reported Swiss-franc growth was materially lower than growth at constant exchange rates.
