Salesforce expanded Agentforce Coworker on November 5, adding access through Microsoft Teams, new mobile and desktop apps, and connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. In a Salesforce announcement, the company said more than 185,000 users are using Coworker and that usage increased 21-fold in three months.
Salesforce broadens its AI workplace pitch
Coworker is designed to let employees describe a task while Salesforce coordinates the relevant Agentforce agents and workflows. The expansion brings that process into Microsoft Teams and links account-related emails, calendars and files with Salesforce records through Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connections.
Salesforce said Conversation History and reusable Skills are available now. A new option priced at 50 US dollars per user per month gives enterprises a simpler way to budget for wider deployment. The company also said Agentforce Coworker apps for iOS, Mac and Windows are expected to become generally available in November.
Adoption matters more than the feature list
The commercial test is whether customers move from individual AI experiments to repeatable workflows. Salesforce cited The Adecco Group, which is expanding Coworker across 40 countries, as an example of broader enterprise use. Scheduled tasks and Daily Digest are expected in December, extending the product from on-demand assistance toward recurring work.
