- Sandoz plans to publish its full-year 2026 results on February 17, 2027.
Sandoz narrowed its 2026 sales outlook while raising its profitability target on October 28. Reuters reported that short-term biosimilar supply constraints weighed on third-quarter results and that shares fell as much as 8 percent during the session.
Sales outlook narrows as biosimilars grow
Sandoz now expects 2026 net sales to grow 5-6 percent at constant exchange rates, compared with its previous mid-to-high single-digit forecast. The company attributed the change to temporary supply constraints in Europe and international markets, as well as tougher conditions in Germany.
At the same time, Sandoz lifted its core EBITDA margin guidance to 23.0-23.5 percent for 2026. The company said a more favorable sales mix and stronger operating performance supported the upgrade, replacing its prior expectation for an expansion of about 100 basis points from the 21.7 percent margin recorded in 2025.
Third-quarter net sales increased 5 percent at constant currencies to USD 2.94 billion, according to the company's October 28 announcement. Biosimilar sales rose 17 percent at constant currencies to USD 1.0 billion, while generics sales were stable. North America led regional growth with a 20 percent increase at constant currencies.
