Schneider Electric stock entered the weekend with investors weighing acquisition financing, analyst revisions and the group’s strong data-center outlook. The company completed the bond component of its PTC financing with 6 billion euros in bonds, according to Ideal Investisseur.
Financing and targets shape sentiment
The financing follows the 6 billion euro capital increase announced on October 20 for the acquisition of PTC. The transaction adds a balance-sheet and execution dimension to the investment case as Schneider Electric expands its software and industrial-automation exposure.
Analyst views also moved higher during the week. Jefferies lifted its target price from 323 euros to 329 euros on October 27, while CIC Market Solutions kept a buy rating and a 325-euro target on October 28, the same report said.
Data centers support the outlook
The operating backdrop remains strong. Reuters reported that Schneider Electric raised its 2026 organic revenue-growth target to 12% to 14% and its adjusted EBITA-growth target to 18% to 21% after third-quarter revenue reached a record 11.46 billion euros. Data-center demand grew at a triple-digit rate in the quarter and remained the main growth driver.
