Guidance Holds After Third Quarter

Stellantis reported its third-quarter results on October 28, 2026. In its corporate release, the automaker said net revenue increased 1 percent year over year to 37.6 billion euros. Adjusted operating income reached 256 million euros, up from 90 million euros, while the adjusted operating margin improved to 0.7 percent.

The net loss narrowed 90 percent to 453 million euros, although industrial free cash flow remained negative at 4.0 billion euros. Stellantis reaffirmed its 2026 outlook for mid-single-digit revenue growth, a low-single-digit adjusted operating margin and year-over-year improvement in industrial free cash flow. It also maintained its expectation of positive industrial free cash flow in 2027.

Cost Actions Face Operating Headwinds

Management expects higher consolidated volumes in the fourth quarter, broadly stable pricing and a positive working-capital contribution from normal seasonality. Value Creation Program savings are expected to accelerate to the mid-hundreds of millions of euros in the quarter, roughly twice the amount achieved in the third quarter.

The outlook still includes about 1.0 billion euros in full-year net tariff costs and approximately 1.6 billion euros of cash outflows related to charges recorded in the second half of 2025. Capital expenditure and research spending are expected to equal 6.5 percent of 2026 net revenue, while memory-chip and recall costs remain additional pressures.
