- Strong third-quarter orders and a record backlog support longer-term demand visibility.
- Supply constraints and relocation effects are shifting some revenue into fiscal 2027.
SUSS MicroTec is reshaping its production network while strong orders support demand visibility. The company announced the move on October 27, 2026, and revised its 2026 outlook as supply constraints and relocation effects delay some revenue. The real-time quote of SUSS MicroTec stock shows the latest market level.
SUSS MicroTec stock traded at 50.90 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 16:34 CEST on Friday, October 30, 2026, 7.62 percent below the Xetra close of Thursday, October 29. The latest own report had cited 55.40 euros at 16:59:35 Berlin time on October 29, putting the current quote 8.12 percent lower than that report's comparable level.
Guidance reset meets strong demand
According to the company announcement published by Placera, third-quarter order intake remained high and the order book reached a record level. That demand backdrop contrasts with the revised 2026 revenue range of 405 million euros to 425 million euros, down from 425 million euros to 485 million euros previously.
The EBIT margin target was reduced to 5% to 7% from 8% to 10%. The gross margin outlook remains 35% to 37%, while one-off relocation expenses are expected to total 6.2 million euros, including 4.5 million euros in 2026.
Production shift tests execution
Mask aligner production is being consolidated gradually in Zhubei, Taiwan, while module manufacturing is being concentrated in Sternenfels, Germany. Production activities in Garching will end, affecting approximately 70 employees. SUSS MicroTec said research and development, key manufacturing, application and technology expertise, and its headquarters will remain in Germany.
For investors, the record backlog improves demand visibility but does not remove near-term execution risks. Component availability, delivery timing and the transition between sites will determine how much of the order book converts into 2026 and 2027 revenue. The next quarterly statement, covering the period ended September 30, is scheduled for November 5, 2026.
