Symrise AG completed its EUR 400 million share buyback program as planned, according to a final announcement published by EQS News on Monday, November 2, 2026. The program, launched on February 2, ended after purchases through October 28.
The announcement, carried by TradingView, said Symrise repurchased 4,863,147 shares for an aggregate EUR 399,999,873. That represents 3.5% of the company's share capital, while the volume-weighted average purchase price was EUR 82.25 excluding transaction costs.
Final tranche completes the mandate
Symrise acquired 78,429 shares between October 26 and October 28 for EUR 7,608,695. The final tranche had a volume-weighted average price of EUR 97.0138 per share, with purchases executed on Xetra and other trading venues.
The completed program gives investors a final view of the capital-return measure and removes the near-term execution risk linked to its implementation. It does not by itself alter Symrise's operating outlook or establish a new earnings forecast. The shareholder benefit will depend on the earnings contribution of the lower share count and the price paid for the repurchased shares.
