Tencent is extending its Hy4 artificial-intelligence model across more products, adding a fresh execution test ahead of its third-quarter results. The company announced the release on Wednesday, November 4, while the latest report from AD HOC NEWS details the model's next commercial steps.
Tencent stock traded at 47.88 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 15:06 CET on Friday, November 6, 2026. That was 1.14 percent below the 48.43 euros quoted in the previous report at 15:37 CET on Thursday, November 5, a separate comparison from the daily Xetra close.
Hy4 enters Tencent's ecosystem
Hy4 adds visual understanding, mathematical visual reasoning and the ability to interact with command-line and graphical interfaces across multiple applications. Tencent said the model is designed for longer workflows involving document presentation, web development, visual creative work, game development, Blender and computer-aided design.
The model is already available through Tencent Cloud TokenHub, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy, Yuanbao, WeCom's AI Assistant and ima. Tencent is also opening API access through third-party platforms including OpenRouter, Hermes and OpenCode, while integration work continues for QQ, Honor of Kings, Game of Peace, WeRead and Tencent News.
Commercial proof remains the next test
Tencent reported an average WorkBuddy evaluation score of 83.18 and a 96.15 percent pass rate, with Hy4 ranking first in nine of 12 tested mainland China scenarios. Those internal tests support the technical case, but investors still need evidence that wider access produces sustained usage, enterprise demand and revenue.
Hy4 keeps preview API pricing at 0.90 US dollars per million input tokens, 2.70 US dollars per million output tokens and 0.045 US dollars per million cached input tokens. Tencent plans to release the model weights and system cards in the coming days, while a lower-cost Hy4 Flash version is scheduled next.
Tencent's third-quarter results are scheduled for Wednesday, November 18. The release should give investors a clearer view of AI infrastructure spending, cloud demand and the pace of monetization across enterprise services.
The real-time quote of Tencent stock remains the direct market reference as the company turns model launches into products and customer usage.
Technology-sector sentiment can be followed through the current S&P 500 market context.
