Texas Instruments stock is in focus after three chips were unveiled for AI data-center power, monitoring and signal integrity. The move expands its analog portfolio.

Three chips address AI infrastructure

  • Texas Instruments unveiled the ADC34DSO75, LMI800PS and LMK6B at the OCP Global Summit.
  • The products target power monitoring, high-voltage distribution and signal timing in data centers.
  • TI says the portfolio supports higher AI workloads and more resilient infrastructure.

Texas Instruments introduced three semiconductor products for artificial-intelligence data centers on October 12, 2026, at the Open Compute Project Global Summit in San Jose. In its announcement on TI.com, the company said the portfolio is designed to address power instability, limited real-time monitoring and signal degradation as AI workloads expand.

Power monitoring moves closer to the rack

The ADC34DSO75 is a 3-gigasamples-per-second analog-to-digital converter for continuous, low-power, event-based remote monitoring. Texas Instruments says it can detect transient power-rail events at nanosecond resolution and capture them with on-chip digital signal processing. The company describes the device as thousands of times faster than current solutions, a claim that remains a vendor comparison rather than an independently measured industry standard.

For data-center operators, the commercial proposition is earlier visibility into short power disturbances affecting low-voltage, high-current rails. TI says the device can reduce reliance on on-site debugging equipment such as oscilloscopes. The product therefore extends the role of analog chips from power conversion and regulation toward infrastructure monitoring.

800-volt distribution gains protection

The LMI800PS targets higher-voltage architectures being considered for large AI installations. TI calls it the industry's first 800V isolated hot-swap controller and says it replaces a discrete design requiring five integrated circuits. Its integrated isolated bias supply and PMBus telemetry reduce board area by more than 60 percent, according to the company.

The controller supports both plus-or-minus 400V and 800V distributions, while providing in-rush current management and fast fault isolation. TI also cites 5kVrms reinforced isolation and more than 8 millimeters of creepage. These specifications are relevant to operators seeking more efficient power delivery without allowing a failure in one load to disrupt a shared bus.

Timing becomes a data-center issue

The third product, the LMK6B, is a bulk acoustic wave oscillator aimed at high-speed networking. Texas Instruments says it delivers 9.6 femtoseconds of jitter at 625 megahertz and is designed for transmission rates approaching 3.2 terabits per second. Lower timing error can help preserve signal integrity as connections between processors, memory and network equipment become faster.

The announcement also linked the products to TI's 800V solutions for NVIDIA's MGX AI Factory Ecosystem. A technical presentation on 800V data-center DC/DC design was scheduled for October 15 at the OCP summit, underscoring the company's effort to position power management, monitoring and timing as a combined infrastructure offering.

Stock trades above prior Xetra close

Texas Instruments stock traded at EUR 274.93 on Lang & Schwarz at 12:39 p.m. CET on Friday, October 30, 2026, 0.49 percent above the Xetra close of Thursday, October 29, at EUR 273.60. The product launch gives TI a broader angle on AI infrastructure than chip demand alone: it addresses the electrical stability, fault detection and clock quality needed to keep dense computing systems operating. Revenue contribution and customer adoption will determine whether the portfolio becomes material for the semiconductor group's growth outlook.
