Unipol Assicurazioni completed its rights offering on Friday, October 30, 2026, after all 121,582,320 new shares were subscribed. The company announced the result in its rights offering completion release, published at 10:05 a.m. Berlin time.
The transaction raised EUR 2,499,732,499.20. Unipol said the capital increase was fully subscribed without intervention from the underwriters, removing the final execution step after the sale of all 11,321,451 pre-emptive rights that had not been exercised during the subscription period.
Funding phase reaches completion
The final result followed the sale of the unexercised rights during the October 28 session. The offering had initially secured subscriptions for most of the new shares, while the remaining rights were placed through the subsequent auction process.
Unipol described the completed offering as confirmation of strong interest from existing shareholders and the market. For investors, the transaction increases the share count and strengthens the company's capital base, while the effect on future earnings per share will depend on the earnings contribution from the capital raised and the enlarged equity base.
