  • Vertiv lifted its 2026 outlook after broad-based third-quarter demand accelerated.

Vertiv reported a sharp third-quarter acceleration on October 28, 2026, and raised its full-year outlook across key metrics. In its Vertiv investor release, net sales reached USD 4.313 billion, up 61% from the year-earlier quarter.

Organic sales increased 55%, while acquisitions contributed about 6 percentage points to the reported growth. Demand was broad-based: sales rose 75% in the Americas, 50% in Asia Pacific and 23% in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Organic orders grew by more than 100% year over year, giving the company a stronger forward demand signal than the sales figure alone.

Raised outlook reflects accelerating demand

Vertiv lifted its 2026 net-sales guidance to a range of USD 14.45 billion to USD 14.85 billion, with a midpoint of USD 14.65 billion. The midpoint is USD 650 million above the previous outlook. Adjusted diluted earnings per share are now expected at USD 7.10 to USD 7.20, while adjusted free cash flow is forecast at USD 2.6 billion to USD 2.8 billion.

The fourth-quarter midpoint calls for net sales of USD 4.413 billion, organic sales growth of 50% and adjusted diluted earnings per share of USD 2.25. Vertiv also expects adjusted operating margin of 25.3% to 26.3% in the quarter. These figures are forecasts, not completed results.

Chief Executive Giordano Albertazzi said the infrastructure buildout was accelerating and that Vertiv was expanding capacity, improving productivity and shortening product-development cycles. The company said it continues to invest in next-generation technology and production capability to meet demand from data-center customers.

Execution is the next test

The scale of the order increase strengthens the growth case, but it also raises execution demands. Vertiv must convert its order pipeline into delivered power and cooling systems while expanding capacity and maintaining operating productivity. The company expects continued strong growth in 2027, but has not yet provided a detailed 2027 financial forecast.
