- Warbud will build the second phase of Warsaw's Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum.
- The project includes Poland's largest concert hall and supporting music facilities.
- Completion is expected in 2030, extending VINCI's Polish construction activity.
VINCI's Warbud subsidiary won a contract from the City of Warsaw on October 28, 2026, for the second phase of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum. The French group's official press release puts the contract at 149 million euros and says work is expected to finish in 2030.
Warsaw project broadens construction activity
The scheme covers the second phase of the new home for the Sinfonia Varsovia symphony orchestra. Its main feature will be a 1,877-seat concert hall described by VINCI as Poland's largest. The complex will also contain music production and broadcast facilities.
Warbud will renovate two historic buildings with a combined floor area of 2,185 square metres and connect them to the main building. A public garden and a 400-metre suspended promenade are also part of the development.
The award adds a long-duration project to VINCI Construction's Polish pipeline. The contract value should be recognised over the construction period rather than treated as a single-year revenue contribution. That timing limits the immediate earnings significance, while the award provides clearer medium-term activity for the construction division.
VINCI maintains Polish presence
VINCI said its subsidiaries VINCI Construction, VINCI Energies and VINCI Immobilier employ more than 4,000 people in Poland. The group generated nearly one billion euros of revenue in the country in 2025, according to the same release. Warbud's previous Polish cultural projects include the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, the headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
Vinci stock's real-time quote stood at 110.88 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 11:35 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
