- Warbud will build the second phase of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum for the City of Warsaw.
- The complex will include Poland's largest concert hall and music production facilities.
- Completion is scheduled for 2030, spreading the project across several construction years.
VINCI said on October 28, 2026, that its Polish subsidiary Warbud had won a EUR 149 million contract from the City of Warsaw. The award covers the second phase of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum, a new home for the Sinfonia Varsovia symphony orchestra, according to the VINCI press release.
Project scope and completion timeline
The development will feature a 1,877-seat concert hall described by VINCI as Poland's largest. It will also contain music production and broadcast facilities, positioning the scheme as a broader cultural infrastructure project rather than a single auditorium.
Warbud will renovate two historic buildings with a combined floor area of 2,185 square metres and connect them to the main complex. A public garden and a 400-metre suspended promenade are also planned. VINCI expects the works to be completed in 2030.
For VINCI, the award adds a long-duration project to its construction activity in Poland. The contract will be executed over the construction period, so the headline value should not be treated as revenue booked immediately at the award date. Execution, cost control and the timing of work starts will remain important factors for the subsidiary.
Polish footprint supports visibility
VINCI said it employs more than 4,000 people in Poland and generated nearly EUR 1 billion in revenue there in 2025. Warbud's earlier cultural projects include the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Bialystok, the headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, the Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
