- Management expects a subdued December quarter with a narrow revenue range.
Wipro stock traded at 1.95 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 15:08 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026. The real-time quote of Wipro stock was 3.72 percent above the 1.88-euro quote in the October 29 report.
Margin gains meet weaker bookings
Wipro reported its fiscal second-quarter results for the period ended September 30, 2026, on October 15. According to Morningstar, citing Business Wire, IT services revenue was flat sequentially in constant currency and rose 0.6 percent year over year.
Operating margin increased 0.5 percentage points sequentially to 16.5 percent. Operating cash flow reached USD 553.6 million, or 165.8 percent of net income, giving the quarter a stronger cash-conversion profile.
The booking trend was less supportive. Total bookings fell 22.9 percent sequentially in constant currency to USD 2.595 billion, while large-deal bookings declined 58.6 percent to USD 674 million. For investors, the figures leave execution and deal conversion as key tests for the next reporting cycle.
December outlook remains narrow
Wipro expects fiscal third-quarter IT services revenue of USD 2.571 billion to USD 2.625 billion for the quarter ending December 31, 2026. The range implies constant-currency sequential growth of minus 1.5 percent to plus 0.5 percent and reflects seasonal furloughs and fewer working days.
Management said delayed deals could support fourth-quarter revenue if they close as expected. The company is also targeting continued margin improvement while investing in artificial intelligence and consulting-led services.
