Chainlink is extending its infrastructure for on-chain financial products across Asia. The network's APAC Equities Streams now cover six exchanges in China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, according to a Crypto Briefing report published November 3, 2026.

The expansion adds the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Taiwan Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange to the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Korea Exchange already covered. Chainlink said the five markets together represent more than USD 40 trillion in equity value. Its announcement also named TSMC, Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix and BYD among the companies represented in the feeds.

What the new feeds provide

The streams provide mid prices, bid and ask data, and market-status information during the relevant exchange sessions. Crypto Briefing said the feeds are available to Lighter, Jupiter Exchange and Predict.fun for on-chain equity markets and related products. Prices remain quoted in local currencies rather than being converted into a single base currency.

The expansion is meaningful for developers seeking to build equity-linked derivatives, prediction markets or tokenized-asset applications. It does not, however, mean that USD 40 trillion of equities has been tokenized or that this amount represents blockchain trading activity. The figure refers to the value of the underlying equity markets.

Chainlink price remains the market gauge

The Chainlink price was displayed at USD 11.620 on the reviewed Investing.com quote page, with the page showing 17:41:21 Berlin time. The same reading listed a daily range of USD 10.639 to USD 11.786, a 24-hour volume of USD 384.27 million and a market capitalization of USD 8.72 billion. The page also showed a 52-week range of USD 7.003 to USD 16.766.

For investors, the key question is whether broader data coverage turns into sustained paid use. More feeds and integrations can expand Chainlink's addressable market, but the announcement alone does not establish future revenue or additional demand for LINK. The APAC streams also operate during regular exchange sessions, so applications must account for market closures and stale prices outside those hours.

Business progress, token effect unproven

Chainlink's APAC move fits its broader effort to connect traditional market data with blockchain applications. The project's official website describes the platform as infrastructure for data, compliance, connectivity and interoperability across on-chain finance. That positioning supports a potentially larger institutional use case, while the token's market performance remains dependent on broader crypto conditions and actual network usage.

More coverage is therefore a development to monitor rather than a standalone valuation signal. Investors should distinguish the expansion of the service from confirmed fee growth, token demand or a direct price reaction.
