Investor perspective
The midday rise shows a firmer intraday tone after Friday's decline, but the index remained below its October 2 level of 6,718.25 points cited in the market report. That comparison places the current level in the context of recent volatility rather than establishing a new trend. The ATX was also still below its 2026 high of 7,043.27 points.
