UCB led the advance with a 5.3 percent gain to 272.70 euros. The company had raised its 2026 outlook the previous day, citing stronger demand for Bimzelx and continued gains from Cimzia, Investing.com said.
Why did the BEL 20 rise on Friday?
The move followed a second strong session for UCB after its outlook increase. KBC also gained 2.7 percent after Citi issued a buy recommendation, while the sector mix favored healthcare, industrials and financials, De Aandeelhouder reported.
