Bitcoin price steadies near USD 76,000 as ETF outflows test rebound

- Bitcoin traded near USD 76,000 after a sharp post-election selloff.
- US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 1.28 billion in net outflows through Friday.
- Investors are watching USD 80,000 as a recovery marker and USD 73,000 as a downside level.
Bitcoin price remains under pressure despite a weekend stabilization. Investing.com displayed BTC/USD at USD 75,855.9 on the November 8 retrieval, with a 24-hour volume of USD 9.08 billion and a market capitalization of USD 1.52 trillion. The page showed a daily range of USD 75,645.5 to USD 75,960.3 and a 52-week range of USD 57,832.5 to USD 107,461.3.
The quoted level follows a sharp reversal from the post-midterm rally. In a report published by Investing.com on November 7, Bitcoin was described as trading above USD 76,000 after an earlier selloff. The report said the rebound followed a decline of about 5.2 percent over 24 hours during Friday trading, after the post-election advance faded.
ETF withdrawals challenge the rebound
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 411.9 million in net outflows on Friday, according to the Investing.com report. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust accounted for USD 403 million of redemptions, while Fidelity's fund recorded USD 42.8 million of inflows. The report put total November withdrawals through Friday at roughly USD 1.28 billion, with Wednesday the only positive session during that period.
That flow pattern matters because exchange-traded products have become an important channel for institutional exposure. Continued redemptions do not determine the next Bitcoin price move on their own, but they indicate that this source of demand was not providing sustained support during the recovery attempt.
Levels investors are watching
Investing.com identified USD 80,000 as a nearby recovery marker and USD 73,000 as a possible downside level. The current quote is below the former threshold and remains close to the lower end of the displayed daily range. A move back above USD 80,000 would therefore represent a clear test of whether buyers can regain control; a break toward USD 73,000 would signal that selling pressure remains dominant.
Market volatility was also amplified by leverage. Investing.com's report said more than USD 1.27 billion in cryptocurrency derivatives positions were liquidated during the earlier 24-hour selloff, including more than USD 1.1 billion in bullish positions. For investors, that underlines the importance of separating spot demand from forced trading activity.
Bitcoin's network remains decentralized
Beyond the market data, Bitcoin.org describes Bitcoin as an open-source peer-to-peer payment network operating without a central authority or banks. That design distinction does not remove price risk: the current Bitcoin price remains sensitive to ETF flows, broader risk appetite and leveraged positioning.
