BNB price stays in focus as revenue rises and Jenner testnet rolls out

- BNB Chain reported third-quarter network revenue of 54.2 million USD, up 54 percent from the prior quarter.
- Daily active addresses fell 14 percent to 2.10 million, while tokenized-stock trading reached 25.6 billion USD.
- The Jenner upgrade is active on testnet with a 5 percent Payment Lane reserve, but no mainnet date has been announced.
- BNB closed at 750.32 USD on October 29, 2026, according to the reported UTC daily data.
BNB price developments are being shaped by two separate signals: stronger network economics in the third quarter and a new protocol upgrade that has so far reached testnet only. BNB Chain's Jenner hardfork reserves part of block capacity for eligible payments, while recent operating data show higher revenue but weaker address-based activity.
Revenue improves as activity diverges
TokenPost reported that BNB Chain generated 54.2 million USD in network revenue in the third quarter, 54 percent more than in the second quarter. Transaction fees contributed 49.1 million USD and maximal extractable value payments added 5.1 million USD. The network processed 1.51 billion transactions, up 7.5 percent, while average fees increased to 0.032 USD.
The expansion was not broad-based across all activity measures. Daily active addresses averaged 2.10 million, down 14 percent from the previous quarter. Tokenized-stock trading reached 25.6 billion USD, roughly 11 times the second-quarter volume, and tokenized-stock supply rose to 1.13 billion USD by September 30. These figures point to greater transaction intensity in selected applications, rather than uniform growth across the network.
Jenner remains a testnet development
According to Coinotag, BNB Chain activated Jenner on the BNB Smart Chain testnet on October 29. Under BEP-703, the Payment Lane initially reserves 5 percent of each block's gas for eligible payments. Governance could raise that share to 10 percent. Simple BNB transfers qualify automatically, while stablecoins such as USDT require inclusion on an approved list.
The upgrade also includes millisecond block timestamps under BEP-706 and dormant functionality for the CAS20 token framework under BEP-702. Coinotag reported that CAS20 token creation requires a separate governance activation. Mainnet timing for Jenner has not been announced, so the testnet rollout is an infrastructure milestone rather than evidence of immediate changes to BNB usage or valuation.
Price reference for October 30
The reported historical table lists a UTC daily close of 750.32 USD for October 29, 2026, with an intraday high of 759.79 USD and low of 744.44 USD. The Investing.com BNB page showed 749.80 USD at 17:56:40 Berlin time on October 29, with a displayed daily change of 2.11 percent. The two figures refer to different timestamps and should not be treated as contradictory quotes.
For the BNB price, the current investment question is whether higher fees and tokenized-asset activity can offset the decline in daily active addresses. The Jenner rollout may add payment capacity, but its practical significance depends on mainnet activation, governance decisions and subsequent usage.
