- Chainlink's Q3 review reported more than 15 billion USD in token value migrating to CCIP during 2026.
- CCIP secured more than 85 billion USD in cross-chain token value, while CCIP 2.0 added institutional security, compliance and settlement controls.
- LINK traded at 11.537 USD at 17:15:28 Berlin time on October 29, with a market capitalization of 8.64 billion USD.
The Chainlink price remained below its October high as the network highlighted stronger institutional adoption of its cross-chain infrastructure. At 17:15:28 Berlin time on October 29, Investing.com listed LINK at 11.537 USD. The page showed a 24-hour volume of 242.09 million USD, a market capitalization of 8.64 billion USD and a market ranking of 14. Its displayed 52-week range was 7.003 to 18.653 USD. These figures are a point-in-time reading rather than a UTC daily close.
For investors, the more important development is the network's third-quarter update. In its Q3 2026 review, published on October 21, Chainlink said more than 15 billion USD in token value had migrated to its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP, during 2026. The company also reported that CCIP secured more than 85 billion USD in cross-chain token value.
Institutional infrastructure expands
Chainlink said CCIP 2.0 went live during the third quarter with additional security, compliance and settlement controls for institutions moving assets between public and private blockchains. The review also described Fulcrum, an institutional financing and collateral-management solution, and a solution designed to connect banks to Swift's blockchain ledger.
The update further cited work involving the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, Wyoming's Stable Token Commission and Hong Kong's Tokenized Securities Framework. Chainlink said Aave, Coinbase and xStocks expanded their use of CCIP, while Nethermind began migrating infrastructure to the protocol. These announcements indicate broader infrastructure adoption, but they do not by themselves quantify revenue or direct LINK purchases.
Reserve offers a closer token link
Chainlink reported that its Reserve added 1,543,330.47 LINK during the third quarter, reaching 6,047,498.3150 LINK. The reserve mechanism provides a more direct connection between network activity and the token than the headline value secured by CCIP. Even so, the review does not establish how quickly reserve accumulation will affect the market price.
That distinction matters while the Chainlink price trades well below the 18.653 USD upper end of the displayed 52-week range. The current market data show the token's position at the time of review, while the Q3 figures describe developments through the reporting period. Investors therefore need to separate infrastructure growth, reserve activity and near-term market demand rather than treating one as a guaranteed forecast for another.
