The next scheduled release follows an October distribution to core contributors, the project group that helped develop Hyperliquid. Unlocks.app reported that 3.75 million HYPE was committed for the October 6, 2026 payout and sold over the counter to one institutional buyer.

That report valued the October 6, 2026 batch at 336.75 million USD. An over-the-counter transaction takes place away from a public exchange order book, so the transfer route differs from a sale executed directly on an exchange.

ETF outflows contrast with network share
