Galp's collapse followed the end of talks with Spain's Moeve over a combination of their downstream businesses. The deal failed after the sides could not reach commercial terms, Reuters via MarketScreener reported.
Why is the PSI 20 down today?
Galp's strategic setback outweighed a strong third-quarter performance. The company raised its 2026 EBITDA guidance to EUR 5 billion after quarterly EBITDA reached EUR 1.5 billion, but the failed transaction dominated trading, Yahoo Finance reported.
