Solana price pressured as spot ETF outflows reach post-launch record

Solana price remains under pressure after US-listed spot SOL ETFs recorded their largest weekly outflow since launch. Recent network releases offer a counterpoint, but demand indicators remain weak.

ETF outflows test Solana demand

  • US-listed spot SOL ETFs recorded USD 71.47 million in net withdrawals last week, the largest weekly outflow since launch.
  • Investing.com displayed SOL at USD 94.043 on November 2, down 1.45 percent on its listed daily comparison.
  • Recent validator-client releases and ecosystem activity provide infrastructure support, but near-term institutional demand remains a risk.

Solana price remains below the USD 100 mark as institutional demand weakens and the broader crypto market reassesses risk. A market analysis published by TMGM, citing SoSoValue data, said US-listed spot SOL exchange-traded funds recorded USD 71.47 million in net withdrawals during the previous week. That was the largest weekly withdrawal for the funds since launch and extended their outflow streak to four weeks.

ETF demand sets the tone

The same analysis said Solana had posted five consecutive weekly losses since late September. It also placed SOL below its 50-day, 100-day and 200-day exponential moving averages, indicating a weaker short-term technical setup. Those observations describe market positioning rather than a guaranteed future price path.

On November 2, the Solana/USD page at Investing.com displayed a price of USD 94.043 and a listed daily decline of 1.45 percent. The page showed a 24-hour trading volume of USD 1.42 billion, a market capitalization of USD 55.65 billion and a rank of seven. Its displayed 52-week range was USD 60.2 to USD 188.982. These figures are a snapshot from the cited page and should not be confused with a separate UTC closing price.

Network development continues

Technical progress provides a counterpoint to the demand weakness. Solana Hub reported that Anza recommended Agave v4.4.0 for mainnet-beta validators from October 30, while Firedancer released version 26.10.5 as a mainnet-ready build. The recap also reported that Ondo launched seven portfolio tokens on Solana on October 29 and that Anchorpoint announced a collaboration involving native issuance of the HKDAP stablecoin on the network.

The distinction matters for investors: infrastructure releases and new applications may strengthen the network's longer-term proposition, but they do not automatically offset fund redemptions or selling pressure. For now, Solana price performance remains closely tied to whether institutional flows stabilize and whether buyers return above the USD 100 area.
