- Stellar became a default network in MetaMask's mobile app and browser extension on October 29, expanding access to XLM and Stellar-based assets.
- Securitize announced plans to integrate Stellar for tokenized financial products but named no first product or launch date.
- Protocol 30, known as Bell, faces validator votes on November 3 for the testnet and November 23 for the mainnet, both at 17:00 UTC.
Stellar's latest developments expand access and institutional use cases, but they have not yet established a direct increase in demand for XLM. The Stellar price was listed at 0.16995 USD on the Investing.com Stellar page read on November 2. The same page showed a market capitalization of 6.00 billion USD, 24-hour volume of 174.42 million USD, rank 16, and 35.25 billion XLM in circulation.
MetaMask adds a new access point
Stellar's official Stellar Development Foundation press releases page records that MetaMask made Stellar a default network on October 29. A report reviewed by CryptoNews says the integration is live in MetaMask's mobile app and browser extension. Users can hold, send and receive XLM and supported Stellar assets, while a Stellar address is generated from an existing recovery phrase.
This lowers the setup barrier for existing MetaMask users, but the announcement did not report user activations, transferred funds or completed swaps. The access benefit is therefore observable; its effect on network activity and the Stellar price remains unproven.
Tokenization plans add institutional context
On October 28, Securitize announced plans to integrate Stellar for the creation and administration of tokenized financial products. Unchained, published by Yahoo Finance, reported that Securitize had not named a first fund, issuer or launch date. The report cited data from rwa.xyz showing about 3.77 billion USD in distributed real-world-asset value on Stellar as of October 28.
The figures support Stellar's positioning in tokenized assets, but an integration plan is not the same as live product demand. For XLM holders, the key issue is whether future issuance and settlement create meaningful transaction activity rather than merely expanding the list of announced partnerships.
Bell upgrade moves toward votes
Stellar's official blog lists Bell, Protocol 30, as an October 20 announcement. According to CryptoTicker, validators are scheduled to vote on the testnet on November 3 and the mainnet on November 23, both at 17:00 UTC. The proposed changes include multiplexed contract addresses, quantum-safe signature verification inside smart contracts and millisecond ledger timestamps.
These dates are votes, not automatic activation. The upgrade does not require an XLM migration or a balance change, while wallets, exchanges and infrastructure providers must support the new address format. The near-term investor focus is therefore on implementation and adoption, not on an assumed immediate price effect.
